Shinfield Studios is an exciting new production hub currently in development. Phase 1 is open now (4 stages, workshops and offices) with more facilities opening in phases over the next 2 years.

Building on the UK’s global reputation for producing world class content, this new Hub will offer film and television producers 18 new purpose-built sound stages within a development exceeding 1 million square feet together with workshop and mill space plus a contemporary office environment and post production facility, on a scale to service the largest blockbuster productions.

Shinfield Studios will create a substantial and diverse range of employment opportunities and will enhance the innovation-led strategy at the Thames Valley Science Park established by our partner, the University of Reading, in conjunction with Wokingham Council.

Proudly serving the community for 35 years, Thames Hospice provides inpatient and community palliative and end-of-life care to people aged 16 and over.

Its 28 bed, state-of-the-art facility, opened in 2020, is set in eight stunning acres of tranquil landscaped gardens overlooking Bray Lake, about 30 miles west of London in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Located just off the M4, the charity is within easy reach of excellent transport road links and fast direct trains into London Paddington.

With both Bray Studios and Pinewood Studios on the doorstep, ample onsite free parking, catering and toilet facilities, Thames Hospice is an ideal venue for production companies looking for a healthcare setting, spacious rooms or training facilities to do small photoshoots and filming.
